This past year, TAG USA Gymnastics has created a one-of-a-kind coaching staff by adding world renowned and national championship coaches to the Junior Olympic and Elite training teams.
Alan Hatch, a 2004 USA Olympic Team coach, became TAG USA'sDirector of Gymnastics and Head Coach on vault, bars, and beam. Julie Davis, the Florida State TOPs manager, has joined TAG USA as Head Coach of TOPs and the new TAG Elite Team.Coach Luis Martinez-Lopez, Head Coach of Boys Gymnastics, has 20 years of Mexican National and International coaching and judging experience. Shane Smith, Head Coach of the Trampoline & Tumbling Team is also
the Director of Recreational Gymnastics and a member of the Miami Heat Extreme Team.
TAG USA also has the best coaching duo in Leesa Van Werven, Head Coach of Girl's Compulsory Team, and Arno Van Werven, Head Coach of bars and vault.
Our coaching staff has over 100 years of coaching experience with many State, Regional, National, Elite, and Olympic champions. TAG USA is now considered a USA Olympic Training Facility.
TAG USA welcomes TeShawne Jackson to the girl's competetive team. Coach Jackson has been the assistant women's coach for the Iowa State Cyclones and an all-around gymnastics champion at the University of West Virginia . Also joining the TAG USA coaching staff is Jesse Kiley, the 2007 USA Trampoline & Tumbling Team champion.
