Coached by Julie Davis, our TOPs program looks for gymnasts between the ages of 7 and 11 not currently training to compete at the elite or international levels. We work with them to identify fitness and skill challenges through rigorous testing and working with regional and national staff coaches. We then educate these talented athletes and their parents or guardians in a concerted effort to improve the training regimen and overall competitiveness.
Qualified candidates range in age from 7 to 11 years, hold a current USA Gymnastics Athlete membership, have submitted all necessary paperwork (such as medical form), and are currently are not qualified elite level athletes.

TOPs was specifically designed to find "potentially" talented athletes and educate these athletes along with their coaches and parents. While the TOPs program cannot guarantee the success of its participants, it is a program that offers the best opportunity for athletes, parents, and their coaches to explore the full potential of the participants.

• TOPs drills and conditioning are also incorporated in daily team workouts.
